Vesall

Vesall was a male dwarf who lived in Vangrinn, Svartálfaheimr.

Biography

When the Muspels invaded Svartalfheim, Oglehr escaped to Hodda Shelter. While there, he met a visitor, the Æsir lord Havi, who asked to speak with the shelter chief and mentioned Ivaldi's name. However, Vesall mentioned Oglehr as the current chief in charge, not him. After some time, Vesall noticed Havi return from his search for Sindri, but with the dwarf's corpse. Along with other dwarves in the shelter, Vesall helped set up the funeral service for Sindri but informed Havi of his missing favorite tools, which may have been hidden atop a high structure due to Sindri's enthusiasm for climbing. After the preparations were finished, Vesall and other dwarves gave his condolences to Brokkr and attended the ceremony.
