Jordber Shelter

Jordber Shelter (Runic: ᚢᚬᚱᛏᛒᛅᚱ ᛋᚼᛅᛚᛏᛅᛦ) was a dwarven shelter in northeastern Gullnámar, Svartálfaheimr. During the Muspel invasion of the realm, dwarven survivors made their way to seek refuge at the shelter set up by the Sons of Ivaldi.
History[edit | edit source]
In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's time in Svartalfheim, the Æsir lord Havi was led by his dwarven rescuers and allies Sigrun and Halstein, who saved him from nearly dying after his loss against the warlord Surtr and his wife Sinmara. After following the dwarven symbols made to the shelter, they arrived at its entrance and were met by Brudd, Jordber Shelter's chief.[1]
Making their way inside, Brudd welcomed Havi into the shelter, and while there, the shelter's blacksmith Grungir helped him with his Hugr-Rip, a gift from Halstein and Sigrun. After being assisted, Havi and Brudd talked about Havi helping against the Muspels, but he only agreed to assist them by seeking out other shelters. Brudd understood and was thankful for any possible aid Havi could give before leaving him on his quest.[1]
