The Shipwreck of Nestor was a shipwreck located next to a small island south of Messenia, Greece, during the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra found the shipwreck and claimed its treasures, among them a figurehead featuring snakes for the ship Adrestia.[1]
