Karkh is a district in the western half of Baghdad, serving as the marketing district where large crowds gathered to do business and trade goods from China, Constantinople and Spain.[1]
In the 850s, Karkh was one of the districts chosen by the Hidden Ones Mentors Fuladh and Roshan to have a new bureau established.[2]
