Ezio, my friend! How may I be of service? This article has a lot of room for expansion. Please improve it with additional information in accordance with the Manual of Style |

Jarjaraya was a town in Iraq, located by the Tigris river southeast of Baghdad. During the 9th century, the town was home to many Zanj slaves who had been freed from their fates by the rebels led by Ali ibn Muhammad. In addition to the Zanj slaves, the town was home to a number of merchants who came to Baghdad to business but struggled to make ends meet.[1]
