James of Crannach (c. 1270[1] - 1297) was a member of the Scottish Brotherhood of Assassins and the apprentice of Thomas of Balmerino who was trained alongside Fillan. He met Fillan the day after he had arrived at Scone. He was later revealed to be the mole who was leaking intel to the Templars in the hope of joining the Templar Order.
