Altar of Prometheus was a shrine dedicated to Prometheus located in the Sieged Plains of Attika, Greece, near the Academy.
The altar featured a statue of the Titan holding living flame in his hands, and served as the beginning point of a torch relay.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War the misthios Kassandra visited the monument.[1]
