Hippolyte Fontaine (1833 – 1910) was an French engineer during the Franco-Prussian War.
During the war, he aided the Parisians by supplying and financing war cannons for them. After the war, Fontaine made his way to Brussels and even found himself with British Assassin Simeon Price.[1]
