Heine was an escaped bondsman and warrior active in the late 10th century Sweden.
Heine was part of a company with four other escaped bondsmen. Among them was Boe Björnsson, whom he had a particular disaffection for, regularly trading barbs and, on one occasion, blows. Heine held a grudge against Boe for breaking his nose, and, while the group camped near Uppsala, he slit Björnsson's throat and fled.[1]
Heine was pursued by Hidden One Torgny the Lawspeaker, who sought to discover who was attempting a rebellion against Eric the Victorious. Torgny broke Heine's back and left him there to warn the other bondsmen that he would be hunting them.[1]
