Enkidu was an Eastern imperial eagle which accompanied the thief-turned-Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq during their time in 9th-century Baghdad.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Enkidu first appeared in Assassin's Creed: Mirage's reveal livestream, flying in the skies above the city. Their name was first revealed in a report by Game Informer,^[1] and is a reference to the legendary figure of the same name from ancient Mesopotamian mythology.
