Zahra was an Egyptian farmer and warrior from Dionysias who lived during the reign of Ptolemy XIII.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Born into a family of farmers, Zahra learned to fight along the rest of her family when the bandits led by Son of Ra begun to harass them in 51 BCE by raiding and burning down the farms. She found out she loved fighting, and was good at it.[1]
At some point, she befriended her Greek neighbor, Bion.[1]
In 47 BCE, she allied with the Medjay Bayek of Siwa to stop the bandits, after they burned down her farm. Their hunt led them first to the ruins in the White Desert Oasis, and then to the Dionysias Caravanserai.[1]
Afterwards, Zahra remained in Philoteris, a short distance southeast of Dionysias and west of Euhemeria.[2]
Personality and chracteristics[edit | edit source]
Zahra was flirtatious and self-professed romantic, who was "apt at shit kicking", as she put it. She was awed by the desert and eager to fight.[1]
