The Wailing Cavern was an underwater cave located south of the island of Lestris, Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, finding one of the Ainigmata Ostraka within.[1] She had also heard about a missing precious cargo, miltos, and found the shipment of the mineral within the shipwreck near the cavern.[2]
