The Terrors of Kyknos was a group of bandits active in Greece during the 5th century BCE.

During the Peloponnesian War, the gang attacked the lighthouse on the southern tip of Isle of Salamis, and robbed it, taking with them the Golden Feather of Ajax and scaring the lighthouse keeper.[1]

Afterwards, the gang withdrew to the Mycenaean Tomb of Ajax on the island, which they had claimed as their base of operations. It was there where the Spartan misthios Kassandra found them and slew them, claiming the feather from the corpse of their leader.[1]

It is uncertain which Kyknos the name of the gang references.[2]

The word κύκνος (kúknos) is Greek for 'swan'.[3]
