Swinda was a Norse blacksmith and resident of Ravensthorpe in England during the 9th century.
During the Sigrblot festival in Ravensthorpe, she joined the festivities. As blacksmith she was skilled in creating weapons. During the festival several of her weapons needed testing, for which she requested the aid of jarlskona and shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir.[1] Her arena was met with praise. During the Oskoreia festival she set up a location for participants to strengthen their resolve and fight several waves of enemies in their minds.[2]
