Salmoneus' Hubris was the ruins of a village in The Scorched Lands, within the simulation of the Hades. It could be found in the northern part of the region.

During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra explored the area, sealed two Tartaros Rifts and claimed some valuables.[1] She went here in search of Phoibe, who tried to seek the help of the Keres.[2]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The name of the location references Salmoneus, a king of Elis who founded the city of Salmone, and further to the story of how Zeus struck Salmoneus down for his hubris. Virgil mentioned in his Aeneid that Salmoneus was sentenced to Tartaros. Salmoneus was also the brother of Sisyphos.
