Purrhos the Red was a shipwreck located within the waters of Pandora's Cove in Malis, Greece.

History[edit | edit source]

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, looting the shipwreck's riches.[1]

Πῠρρός (purrhós) is the Greek word that means 'red'.

The name references Neoptolemus, the son of Achilles in Greek mythology, who was called Pyrrhos due to his red hair.[2]
