Entrance to the cave

The Orphis Lair was a cave in the Mourning Fields, within the simulation of the Underworld.

Visually, it looked very much the same as the Sanctuary of Kosmos in Phokis, with even corpses of the killed members of the Cult of Kosmos laying about. Even the Pyramid stood in the middle of the room. Epiktetos, a member of the Fallen made the cave his home, awaiting revenge on Deimos.

During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra visited the cave, eliminating Epiktetos and looting a waistband from his body.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Orphis is a corruption of the Greek ὄφῐς (óphis) meaning 'serpent, snake'.
