The Kephisos is a river beginning at the Kephisos Spring in Phokis and running through Boeotia to feed into the Lake Kopais.

It is considered sacred to the river-god Kephisos.[1] In addition to him, however, also the trio of goddesses called the Charites were considered to be the deities of the river.[2]
