Kawab amongst the villagers complaining to Meritmaat

Kawab was an Egyptian man living in Kerke during the 1st century BCE.

After the Ptolemy Commander took control of Kerke, Kawab began working for him. In 48 BCE, his wife was pregnant with a new child, and Meritmaat used this fact to get him to back off, promising gifts when Kawab, together with Mahu and Herihor, threatened her.[1]
