Biography[edit | edit source]
In 985, Heine was part of a company with four other escaped bondsmen. Among them was Boe Björnsson, whom he had a particular disaffection for after Boe broke his nose, and they regularly traded barbs and, on one occasion, blows. While the group camped near Uppsala, Heine slit Boe's throat and fled.[1]
He was subsequently pursued by the Hidden One Thorvald Hjaltason, who sought to discover who was planning a rebellion against King Eric the Victorious. Thorvald broke Heine's back and left him there to warn the other bondsmen that he would be hunting them.[1]
