The Algerian Rite of the Templar Order was the rite of the Templar Order based in Algeria that was in operation during the 16th century.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1511, the Templars controlled the city of Algiers. That year, a group of Ottoman Assassins was dispatched to the city by the Italian Assassin Mentor Ezio Auditore. Eventually, the Templars lost control of Algiers and were expelled from the city by the Assassins.[1]
