Ealing is a district in western London, England.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1825, Simeon Price, was born in the district, where his father worked in one of its public house.[1] Circa 1831, one of its public schools, led by Lady Byron, noticed Simeon as a exceptionally gifted student and took him under her wing to teach him personally. However, despite his awareness, he was cast out after his loyalty to Byron's daughter, Ada Lovelace, cost him his education.[2]

In 1853, acrobat Pierrette Arnaud tracked a lead for Price to a pub in Ealing and met with his father. However, his father stated that he was dead and assumed that Arnaud wanted money or to be recompensated in some regard. She was left as she had no further information on his whereabouts.[3]
