Basel is a city in Switzerland.
History[edit | edit source]
By the 1520s, Bombastus had already established his workshop in the city,[1] where he lived and worked alongside his assistant Maria Amiel.[2] In 1520, the Assassin Giovanni Borgia visited Bombastus in Basel, in order to show him a Crystal Skull he had recovered from Tenochtitlan, Mexico. Bombastus' workshop was where he kept the first half of the Book of Abraham, and also where he created the Philosopher's stone.[1]
By the 1850s a trainline ran from Basel to Strasbourg, then from Strasbourg to Paris. Simeon Price took this trainline in his pursuit of Felice Orsini.[3]
