Genetic Memory Concordance is the phenomenon of two or more bloodlines intersecting in time and space. Multiple concordances throughout time focused on a specific group of bloodlines can be evidence of Ascendance Events. Genetic Memory Concordance has practical applications within Animus technology. Through this it allows multiple descendants to share a simulation of the overlapping genetic memory. Furthermore it allows for extrapolated memories of individuals such as Abraham who had already had children by using memories of him rather than memories from him.[1]
History[edit | edit source]
Abstergo Industries employee Sebastian Monroe was researching Genetic Memory Concordance and Ascendance Events before fleeing the company with a modified Animus due to his concerns about the Templars. While in hiding in 2016, he found a number of highschool students with extremely high concordances in their genetic memory specifically during the New York City draft riots. This he believed was proof of Ascendance Events. Later the kids came to the attentions of the Templars and the Assassins as the concordances coincided with moments in human history where Prongs from the Trident of Eden were active.[1]
