This article is about the imposter. You may be looking for Kassandra.
They call me many things: Murderer. Cutthroat. Thief. But you may call me Eagle Bearer (imposter).

This article is about a subject that lacks an official name and is known only by its nickname, title, or alias.

The "Eagle Bearer" was an imposter of the legendary mercenary of the Peloponnesian War, Kassandra, whose epithet he copied.

Biography[edit | edit source]

At one point during the Peloponnesian War, the imposter of the renowned mercenary Kassandra went to Alponos in Lokris. He met with Megakles, a man who tried to prevent the village being plundered by pirates. Paid to do several jobs around the village, the "Eagle Bearer" went ahead and ruined most jobs, making the situation of the village unbearable.[1]

He met with Kallipides, the blacksmith of the village. He helped the blacksmith by lighting his furnace but unintentionally allowed it to explode, blinding the man in the process to prevent him from forging weapons for the villagers. This, in turn, indirectly caused his death.[2]

He also met with Nikaia, a horse breeder. He told her that feeding a certain type of berry to her horse would turn her horse into a Pegasos. This then resulted in Nikaia feeding Princess Purple Pie and jumping off a cliff to her death.[3]

Finally, he met with an imposter of Ajax the Lesser and sent him to a dangerous location to gather a rather useless helmet. He did not die as planned during that trip, which in time would still happen as the imposter of Ajax was truly convinced that he was a reincarnation of the Greek hero and therefore immortal.[4]

Kassandra tried fixing all the problems for the city but ultimately failed due to the actions of the imposter. After defending the village from pirates, Kassandra acquired a viable lead on the imposter from Megakles.[5] She eventually confronted the imposter and his pet chicken Chikaros.[6]
