The Fort of Retribution was a fort in the Mourning Fields, within the simulation of the Underworld. Occupied by Hades' guards, this fortress was home to a sizeable force. A small part of the fort was blocked by the Tartaros Veil, which contained one of the treasure chests.
During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra explored the area, killed the captains, destroyed Torches of Hypnos, and claimed their valuables.[1]
