River Front Homestead

The River Front Homestead was a small Irish village build along the River Berbha in the northeastern part of the region, northwest of the Berbha Fortification. It consisted of three buildings and was protected by a few soldiers.

In the 9th century, it was raided multiple times by the Vikings Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, Vagn, and her longship crew.^[1]
