Konstantinos was a Byzantine Greek merchant who lived during the 9th century. He was a former partner of the Persian merchant Azar. At some point during their partnership, he was pivotal in events that resulted in the murder of her family and the loss of her right eye. Years later, he was captured while visiting Ireland by the jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, who had agreed to help Azar on a personal mission. The apprehended Konstantinos was brought back to meet Azar face-to-face in order for her to dole out her long-awaited revenge.[1]
