Trade goods was an Animus designation for some items the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan collected during her journeys across 9th century Norway, England,[1][2][3][4] and Vinland, through dreams of the Nine Realms in Norse mythology,[1][5] and her later trips to Ireland,[6] Francia,[7] and the Isle of Skye.[8]

Their provenance was varied, being found inside containers and chests, as well as on people and animals. Though many different trade goods existed, their only use was the monetary value. Merchants would buy all of these, regardless of their nature or type.[1]
