"That was most impressive. For one that reeks of civilization."
―Thalia greeting Kassandra[src]-[m]

Thalia was a Daughter of Artemis who lived during the Peloponnesian War.

Biography[edit | edit source]

A Daughter of Artemis, Thalia was in Phokis when the Peloponnesian War broke out. While wandering the Sacred Lands of Apollo, she witnessed the Kalydonian Boar in the western marshlands of the region, and was impressed and terrified by the beast.[1]

Sometime later, Thalia met the Spartan misthios Kassandra. Seeing the woman kill the beast, Thalia believed that Kassandra might be the person Daphnae, the acting leader of the Daughters of Artemis at the time, was looking for. Due to this, Thalia introduced herself to the misthios, telling her that the goddess Artemis had blessed and guided her, and going on to suggest that Kassandra seek out Daphnae at the temple of Artemis in Phokis.[2]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Thalia, a character in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares her name with one of the Muses of Greek mythology.
