Glaukos was the harbor master of Skandeia Bay on Kythera Island, Greece during the 5th century BCE. Fond of wine, he could easily be found in the local tavern.
Biography[edit | edit source]
During the 420s BCE, the Spartan misthios Kassandra made his acquaintance at the behest of Diona, who had presented herself as a victim of the Cult of Kosmos. Glaukos proved defensive and insecure about Kassandra's relationship with Diona, believing himself to be Diona's true love, but he nevertheless provided Kassandra with the information on three prisoners she needed to save.[1]After Kassandra freed them, he informed her of a man that Diona apparently needed dead.[2]
According to Eritha, the High Priestess and Diona's sister, Diona was simply using his affections to manipulate him, claiming that she had him "wrapped around her finger."[3]
