Typhon's Revenge

Typhon's Revenge is the name for the two uninhabited volcanic islands that form the northern region of Melos, Greece.
History
During the 5th century BCE, the ruins on the greater volcanic island of Typhon's Revenge served as the arena for the final match of the Battle of One Hundred Hands tournament, wherein the Champion of the battle would be decided between two finalists.[1]
At some point during the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra participated in the Battle of One Hundred Hands, and faced Roxana of Hydrea in the ruins.[1]
Trivia
- The region is named after the monstrous creature Typhon in the Greek mythology.
