The Statue of Demeter and Kore was a monument and a shrine dedicated to the Greek goddess of crops and fertile earth, Demeter, and her daughter Kore, in Athens, Greece. The statues of the deities stood watch over the road leading to Eleusis.

During the Peloponnesian War the misthios Kassandra visited the area.[1]
