A view of the Slave Market

The Slave Market was a market for the selling and buying of slaves within Chalkis City in Euboea, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War the misthios Kassandra met the slave Agapios and his master, the magistrate of Chalkis, at the Slave Market.[1]
