The Port of Kechries was a seaport town located at the western end of the Saronic Gulf in Korinthia. It served as a port for the city-state of Korinth.
It's location at the crossroads of eastern land and sea-trades routes made it an ideal port for trade. The bronze statues of Aphrodite and Poseidon which bordered the sea were venerated in Kechries.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios, Kassandra, visited the port.[1]
