Anthousa was a hetaera and a friend of Alkibiades who resided in Korinth, Greece, during the 5th century BCE.

History

After leaving her baby at the Altar of Apollo Maleatas in Argolis, Myrrine came to Korinth. There she met Anthousa, who gave her shelter and befriended her, until Myrrine won the ship Siren Song in a game of dice.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War, Anthousa enlisted the aid of the Spartan misthios Kassandra in eliminating the threat of The Monger, a thug and a member of the Peloponnesian League branch of the Cult of Kosmos.[2]

Trivia

  • The name is derived from the Greek word ανθος (anthos), which means 'flower'.
  • Depending on the choice made regarding the Monger, the Impact Mission Rival Lovers or Competing Admirers will be unlocked.
    • Selecting one, you will be contracted to kill the other; the politician will hire you to kill the poet, and the poet to kill the politician.
