Orneos was an Athenian man, and the little brother of Davos, living during the 5th century BCE.

In 431 BCE, Orneos decided to follow his brother to Kephallonia. Unfortunately, the ship he was sailing in was seized by the pirates working for the Cyclops of Kephallonia, and Orneos was imprisoned in Kleptous Bay. Sometime later, the misthios Kassandra found him and freed him.[1]
