"Nothing gets past the Eyes of Kosmos."
―The Shadow[src]

Nyx the Shadow (died 431 BCE) was a member and the Sage of the Eyes of Kosmos branch of the Cult of Kosmos during the Peloponnesian War.

History

Despite her youthful appearance, Nyx had made a career of being 'The Shadow', a faceless agent who could be anyone by the time of the Peloponnesian War.[1]

This skill in crafting believable personalities, complete with entire histories and lives made The Shadow a valuable asset to the Cult of Kosmos, and she rose in their ranks to become the Sage of the Eyes of Kosmos.[1] Nonetheless, when the Spartan misthios Kassandra decided to hunt down the entire Cult, she eventually managed to gather enough information on The Shadow to find her, and hunt her down in Athens, Attika.[2]

Trivia

  • Nyx is the primordial goddess of the night in Greek mythology. The word itself, νῠ́ξ (núx), means 'night'.
