Montmartre is a hill and district in northern Paris, France.

History

In 1889, the British Assassin Simeon Price found a residence there while working low-level missions for the French Brotherhood under Master Assassin Michel Moulin. He was soon visited by French Assassin and friend Fabrice Sabourin, who informed him of his task to find and assassinate Simeon's former partner Austrian Templar Countess Konstanze von Visler, who arrived in Paris for the Gallery of Machines. Agreeing not to interfere, Simeon knew better and left to locate her hotel room near the gallery.[1]

After his failed attempt to locate Konstanze,[1] Simeon soon received his former apprentice and Assassin Pierrette Arnaud and her ward Spider Wallin at a train station. They came to help stop the countess and her plans with the Engine of History at the Eiffel Tower, in order to perserve Ada Lovelace's memory.[2]
