Metiochos was an Athenian politician and a loyal friend of Perikles who lived during the 5th century BCE.

In 431 BCE, after Metiochos failed to meet with Perikles on one occasion, the statesman sent the Spartan misthios, Kassandra, to check on his friend.^[1]
