Al-Si'la (English: The Hag) was the alias of a member of the Order of the Ancients active in the late 9th century.
Biography
Al-Si'la traveled to Ravensburg, England, where she manipulated Sir Edward, Earl of Westerna's anger at the Vikings of the Raven Clan into her plans. The Saxons in Sir Edward's employ would steal gear from the Raven Clan and launch raids with it to frame them. While the Saxons and Edward would keep the gold and silver, any and all writings recovered would go to Al-Si'la. Al-Si'la also paid to improve Ravensburg's defenses and claimed a cabin for her own.[1]
After Eivor Varinsdottir assassinated Sir Edward publicly, making his guards flee, Al-Si'la left the cabin she was in, pretending to have been kept prisioner by the earl. She attempted to have Eivor come closer, claiming to want to better see her liberator but hiding a dagger behind her, only for Roshan to drop down from a tree and kill her.[1]
