Lebrun (died 1870) was a railway engineer and a member of the Templar Order under the countess Konstanze von Visler. He was tasked by to smuggle the Ankh out of France in the midst of the Paris Commune revolt while fellow Templar Victoire L'Estocq served as a decoy the Isu artifact's carrier.
Whilst attempting to leave the city via an air ballon, Lebrun's guise was discovered by fellow passenger Simeon Price, a member of the British Brotherhood of Assassins. In the struggle, Lebrun was killed and the Ankh dropped down with his body from the balloon.[1]
