"You don't understand. This isn't just about fire and wheat, This is personal."--Lagos the Archon

Lagos the Archon was a Spartan politician and a member of the Cult of Kosmos, operating under the Peloponnesian League branch in Arcadia, Greece, during the Peloponnesian War.

Character Descriptions

Arkadia's citizens were never so prosperous, nor their fields so bountiful, than when Lagos the Archon led them. Even though that was true, there were some who said the Archon sold his soul to Demeter himself.

This war made nations wealthy overnight, including Arkadia. It's grain fields kept Sparta's armies fed, making it a ripe target for the Cult. But Lagos, Arkadia's benevolent figurehead, was no ordinary Cultist. He longed for a world of peace in which he could raise his family...until he became a puppet leader.

Biography

Lagos the Archon was the leader of a farming nation called Arkadia, who supplied the Spartan army with the food they needed for the war by growing and shipping grain and wheat. Lagos is known to be a very close friend ith Spartan general Brasidas, he actually supplied him and his men with food on one of their missions.

Unlike other cultists, Lagos joined them unwillingly. The Cult wanted control of Arkadia, so they asked Lagos if he would join, but when he refused, The Cult kidnapped his wife and son, forcing him to work under their thumb. Luckily, the misthios Kassandra came along and was able to free his family.

While Brasidas wants Kassandra to spare Lagos knowing he was blackmailed into joining the Cult, Myrrine wants Kassandra to kill him thinking that he deserves to ie because he is a cultist, no matter the circumstance. Based on Kassandra's actions in handling The Monger, Kassandra has the choice of killing him or sparing him.
