Full view of the ruins

Kynthos Ruins were the ruins of an ancient Greek settlement located off the slopes of Mount Kynthos on the Greek island of Delos.

Durning the Peloponnesian War the ruins had been turned into a farm by the Delosians, save for a part occupied by a detachment of Athenian troops. Kyra, the leader of the Mykonian rebels, tasked the Spartan misthios Kassandra to cripple the Athenian forces by destroying their weapons and supplies, specifically in the Kynthos Ruins.[1] While there, Kassandra also discovered one of the Ainigmata Ostraka.[2]
