Hyrkanos the Cunning (died 431 BCE) was a mercenary employed by Athens to sabotage the Spartan war efforts in Megaris, Greece, during the Peloponnesian War.

In 431 BCE, Hyrkanos attacked and slew a Spartan supply convoy on its way through the Occupied Forest of Tripodiskos. The supplies he left alone, letting civilians, among them Neaera, take them. ^[1]

Sometime after, a Spartan officer enlisted the help of Hyrkanos' counterpart on the Spartan side, Kassandra, to hunt down the killer of the convoy, and she did.^[2]
