Alexios was a Spartan mercenary man who lived in the time of the Peloponnesian War. He was the younger brother of the exiled mercenary Kassandra and was likewise the grandson of King Leonidas.

Trivia

Alexios, Αλέξιος, is an Ancient Greek name meaning 'defender'.
Alexios is one of two selectable protagonists in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, alongside Kassandra. Regardless of who the player chooses, the two protagonists share the same story though Alexios has been confirmed to be non-canon^[2]
Both Alexios and Kassandra have the same romance options.^{[citation needed]}
