Alexios was a man of Spartan birth.
In 2018, he was one of two possible individuals who could have been the legendary Misthios who wielded the Spear of Leonidas, alongside the real Misthios Kassandra, during Layla Hassan's exploration of their memories.
Alternate reality
As a child, the Misthios was presented with the broken Spear of Leonidas, an Isu weapon, as an heirloom by their mother. Because of their prestigious lineage, great hopes were placed upon them to live up to the strength and valor of Leonidas. However, they were sentenced to death in the aftermath of a tragedy with their own father, Nikolaos, set on personally carrying out the execution.
Surviving the punishment, the Misthios was forced into a life of exile. Living in Kephallonia, the Misthios grew to become a mercenary who made their home on Barnabas' Adrestia.
