The Alekto Shipwreck was a shipwreck located southeast of the Isle of Thisvi during the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra found the shipwreck and looted its treasures, among them a figurehead featuring a lion for the ship Adrestia.[1]
