The Black Wind was a legendary war trireme sailing the Aegean Sea during the 5th century BCE.

During the Peloponnesian War the Adrestia, commanded by the Spartan misthios Kassandra and captained by Barnabas, engaged the Black Wind and his companions in battle, and sank it. Kassandra claimed the sail and finery of Black Wind for her own.^[1]
