Xanthe was a Spartan magistrate of Pitana, Lakonia who lived during the 5th century BCE. She was married to Serios, and with him brought forth Theoros and Makarios.

During the Peloponnesian War she met and asked the misthios Kassandra to escort her younger son Makarios to the Agoge Camp North to begin his agoge. Kassandra did as asked, learning about Xanthe's other son, Theoros, while on the way there.[1]
